Ashley Baldovino Wins 3rd State Championship
11/7/09, Eugene, Or- Senior Ashley Baldovino finished her outstanding High School Cross Country career by winning her 3rd State Championship last Saturday at Lane CC in Eugene.
Ashley time of 20 minutes even was 8 seconds better than her closest competitor. Previously Baldovino won Sate Championships in 2006 and 2007.
In all, 6 LV runners participated in the State finals. On the girls side Lacey Vandenberg finished 38th, Tawna Stancliff finished 104th, and Amy Ortwein finished 111th. For the boys, Devyn Baldovino came in at 24th and Gabe Leal finished at 57th.

Baldovino wins Districts: Several Honkers Qualify for State
10/29/09- Ashley Baldovino took the individual title and several other Honker runners qualafied for the State Meet.
Joining Baldovino, a 2-time state champion will be Lacey Vandenberg, Amy Ortwein, and Tawna Stancliff on the girls side.
Devyn Baldovino and Gabe Leal will compete on the boys side.
