Lady Honkers Dig Deep to win 5 Game Thriller
11/7/09 Drain, Or- After falling behind 2 games to nothing, any hopes for the Lakeview volleyball team advancing in the State Tournament seeemd dim. But, with thier season on the line the Honkers roared back to take 3 games in a row and defeated the North Douglas Warriors 3-2 to advance to the quaterfinals.
Next Up: Lakeview will play on Friday at Pacific University in Forrst Grove. The Honkers will take on Corbett at 8 AM. KQIK will air that match live.

Lakeview To Play at North Douglas on Saturday
11/4/09- The Lady Honker Volleyball team will travel to North Douglas in the 1st round of the OSAA State Tournament this Saturday.
The match will be carried live by KQIK AM 1230. Fist serve is set to go over at 5 PM.

SCL Playoffs:
St Marys Beats LV 3-0 to claim #1 Seed
10/31/09-Unbeaten St. Marys defeated the Lakeview Honkers 3 games to 0 to earn the SCL's #1 seed in the upcoming State Tournament.
The Lady Honkers will have to play a road match on Saturday against either North Douglas or Oakland in the opening round of the State Tournament.. The 1st round opponent will be determined Tuesday.

10/29/09- The Lakeview Lady Honker volleyball team opened the Southern Casvade league playoffs in fine fashion, beating Bonanaza in 3 straight games.
LV took control of the match winning game 1, 25-22, then dominated game 2, 25-12, and closed the match out winning game 3 25-16.
With the win the Honkers have earned another shot at undefeated St. Marys. Lakeview will travel to Medford on Saturday for a 1:00 PM match with the Crusaders. The winner of the match will secure the #1 seed and host a State playoff opening round match, while the loser will get the #2 seed and will have to play a road game in the 1st round.

LV Puts Up Fight before Falling to St Marys
10/22/09-The Lady Honker Volleyball team gave undefeated St Marys all they could handle in losing the SCL final 3 games to 1. The loss gave LV 2nd place in the Southern Cascade League.
The Honkers will host Bonanza this Thursday in the opening round of the SCL playoffs. Game time is tentatively set for 6:00 PM.

Improve to 3-1 in SCL
10/13/09-Lakeview showed measured improvement in their passing game to defeat Lost River 25-11, 25-13, 25-10 in Southern Cascade Volleyball action.

Lakeview Sweeps 2 Matches in Opening Week of SCL Play
10/2/09- The Lady Honkers began play in the Southern Cascade League and showed that they will be a team to be reckoned with by beating both Chiloquin and Bonanza by 3-0 scores.

9/19/09-LaPine beat Lakeview 2-1 to capture the championship in the annual Tall Town Invitational Tournament held at Honker Court.
Lapine won the first game 25-21, but then the Honkers took game 2, 25-22 forcing a deciding game 3 that Lapine won 15-13. Bonanza, North Lake, Chiloquin, Lost River, Mazama, and Mazama all competed in the tourney.
Lakeview's Katie Stofleth and Alena Leet were named to the All-Tournament Team.
